This tutorial will take you step-by-step on getting vDeck to do everything needed for you to install WordPress.

Login to your website cpanel.
You should see many icons, but you want just the 'Host Manager' one:

Click it.

Click this icon

Now you'll see two icons. Right now, you want the one on the left (we'll be back for the other one soon).

Complete the boxes indicated below.

Box 1 is what will also go in your wp-config.php file as your DB_NAME.

Box 2 will be the DB_USER

Box 3 is DB_PASSWORD

When you've completed the boxes - and written down your information - click the ADD buttons for each.

Important stuff !

You will see the user you made, the database you made, and a row of boxes.
You need to check the circled one so that ALL permissions are checked.

Then click the Update button.

You've got 3 pieces of your config information, now for the last chunk.
Remember this screen ?

Click the icon on the right this time. A new window to phpMyAdmin will opn, and you will need to give this two pieces of information to get in.
You entered a user and password just a few minutes ago - enter those here.
Another screen will open - phpMyAdmin.

Look at the top of the main area, and you will see a line of characters and words. In that line will be "@localhost". If is does say this, then for your DB_HOST, leave it as 'localhost'. If there is something else after the @, use that instead.

Run installation

Upload all the WordPress files, including the file above, to the directory where you want it to be.
It doesn't have to be called anything in particular - your choice.
Let's say I uploaded the files to a directory called 'blog' - I would then use my browser to go to
www.example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php
and then you'll see this screen:

Have fun !
