LeechFTP

This shows the file 'birthday' inside directory 'cake'.
The dotted line under "Flags" shows it has file Properties of 0.


Right click the file, and select 'Set Attributes'.


This is the 'CHMOD' box. You are going to alter the file properties.
The box that pops up has 2 methods of entering the correct number.


Tick the boxes, or enter the required number.


You will now see that the dotted line shows the permissions you have applied.
That file has been CHMOD'ed to 766


Hidden Files.
In the top main menu, click 'Files' then 'Options'.
Click the Transfers tab, and you will see this

Add the '-a' to the LIST command, then click Accept.


Close the program, then reconnect to your site.
You will now see all the hidden files.
