I think I found the plugin that was stopping the pingbacks and trackbacks.
Pingback for giving yourself credit
Trackback for taking a vacation
I will post what plugin was the culprit if this works.
Update :
It seems Peter’s anti comment spam plugin here : http://www.theblog.ca/?p=21 : has pingbacks and trackbacks turned off by default. You have to go into the php file and turn those back on.
