I think the guy behind it probably has good intentions, but I can’t help feeling there’s something deeply tacky about turning other people’s personal tragedies into a meme. Like it makes the slightest difference to anyone, anywhere, whether a bunch of navel-gazing bloggers post on some randomly-selected day or not.
