This is so strange. I did not know someone could steal the blog. how does this happen? Does the blog just disappear and the page goes empty? I am rather new to this sort of thing, and there is a lot I do not understand. Is there a way to prevent this?

Hello:

I was excited to find your blog where you found thieves of your content. It is shameful and criminal. I went to J.Waraas blog and what I could read? He's (only) 20 y.o. and is alredy looking for:

1) his own, personal office in town, with some part-time employees, i.e. private company (!)
2) "nice located" property in Idaho - "around $150,000" (!)
3) a small log-cabin "in woods and - with satelite internet" (!) probably to be well hidden while steals....

Wow!

What a "success"... I mean, it seems to be a good "job" stealing other people's work. He should go to jail. That is the right "property" I would offer him. God knows how many blogs he stripped already and what kind of cyber-crime he's doing also, when is grabbed such a money.

I was planing to run my own blog, but was reluctant exactly because of such a people.

Can you explain me, how did you "cath" him? Is there a system which could use any blogger for finding their work stolen around?

I would very appreciate your answer.

I'm glad to see you're still doing this... just in the past two weeks I've had three pieces stolen from Salted and one from my photo blog. I'm pretty sure you don't want to become a repository for everyone's encounter with a splogger... but, do you want more links?

And this whole "I'm doing you a favour by linking to your page" bullshit... say I'm a car dealer, why would I want Jon Waraas out there shilling his shit cars using my good name on a banner over his car lot?

"Oh, well, I'm doing you a favour by having your name on my banner..." No, Jon, you're not. You're using my good selling/writing skills to sell your shit products.
