Mcwifi

So McDonald’s is going to offer wireless. That is about the one reason I would go back in there. After reading Fast Food Nation I never went back in there, KFC or any other such outlet. But a diet coke is a diet coke and free wi-fi is a good move. I can try working from there one day.

    • I have a feeling that they already offer WiFi in Ireland.

I’ll swear I saw it on their site somewhere. Apparently the nearest one to us has it but I think you get the code on your till receipt so I haven’t had the “pleasure” of trying it out

      Yep…..found the link:

    • McDonalds Australia has already installed Wifi in Australian McDonalds restaurants. The only catch is that it isnt free, and you need to be signed up to a specific ISP to take advantage of the wifi.

    • The last time I was in a McDonalds here in America (more than a year ago) they offered WiFi but it wasn’t free. Most likely because they don’t need any additional incentive for us to visit.

    • Surely you’d be able to get a signal sitting outside one in your car…

    • The only place I’ve had free wifi was Union Square in San Francisco. Nowhere else.

Dino – that’s how I thought they would do it with codes. Which just turns receipts into a commodity. But I could go with that.

    • There is even more scope for the upturned latte on the key board then? :)
