Does anyone else own a dog who can see it pouring with rain out in the back garden, who has seen it like this all day and who does not want to go out in it, yet it quite obviously believes that at the front of the house it is sunny and warm? It must think this because it repeatedly asks to go out the front for a walk.
In the end I got all togged up, put his lead on and we headed out. We got halfway down the drive before he stopped, looked me with a “Why have you brought me out in this?” expression and headed back in.
Cats rule.

Oh! Thank God! I thought my dog was the only crazy one who didn’t like the rain. Our family dog was a springer spaniel and she’d go out in any type of weather – rain, hail, cold or hot. She loved it all. The wetter the better in fact!
Oscar on the other hand won’t get out of bed if it’s cold, or if there’s even a hint of rain outside. Strange beasts are our dogs!
