Gates to Jobs episode 3

I had to pick a number to keep track. 3 is as good as any.
The mini is now using the monitor where the PC was – they have swapped. This means that while I learn all these new things my position otherwise has not altered. I could have just slid to the right by 18 inches but that would have been disconcerting.
So….. no synergy. Wired kb and the weird and not that good Mighty Mouse. I will learn shortcuts.
Firefox is running, as is Thunderbird, NNW Lite and X-Chat. Others will start as and when I need.
The jump was needed and I’ve taken it. And wow isn’t this kb small :)
