I – like I am sure many others – placed my order for a Wii when it clearly stated on your website that you had stock. If had not said that then I would not have placed that order. I don’t care for the weasel words about “expected” or “anticipated” I care only for the fact that your website had the words ‘in stock’ on it. This strikes me as inefficient would you not agree? I not only didn’t get the machine on the day but I did not get told about it by you until several days later – this inefficiency strikes again. In an email that same day I get told I will get a controller on the day of release – despite that day being in the week before. Do you pay these staff? I phone to complain and I am told by the girl on the other end that she would never order from your company. Why ? And then today I get another email…..

we will be unable to fulfil your order before Christmas. We are sorry to bring you such disappointing news and although we may receive more stock before Christmas there will not be enough time to despatch to you for the 25th of December.

Now what does that picture – taken from the website RIGHT NOW say? “until 2.00 pm on the 19th December to order in time for Christmas – or 2.00 pm on 21st December for items which are despatched by Special Delivery” and yet here I am, on the 18th with your company saying that it’s too late. Now it’s either too late or not too late. A box in a warehouse that can be delivered is pretty much the same as another isn’t it?
So where are they then Ms Morgan? Why are your company throwing pre-orders away? Stocking them in the shops maybe? No, you wouldn’t be THAT bad would you?

but there again maybe you really don’t give a flying one for the “already caught so we have their cash” customers.

I have spent hundreds of pounds in your stores, right from when it was the tiny Electronic Boutique operation and this time you just blew it all away. Every bit of loyalty has gone. The market is too open now for fuckups. Had your site been honest and I was sitting here without one, fine, no problem. Honesty is good. Don’t pretend, just say it as it is. But you said you had when you obviously did not – and that’s wrong. I have Virgin, HMV, Tesco, Choice, HMV and other places to go for games. I did buy from you, I no longer will. Not that my few quid matters much but you are paid the big bucks to run what you would like to think is decent company and this will hopefully have dented the loyalty of others who trusted you to deliver…..

Lisa Morgan, aged 35 … immediately prior to her joining the Group, was part of the commercial team at Dixons Group plc.

Now to whoever appointed her that is where you went totally wrong. Never get anything from Dixons.

    • Hello there, i would just like to say that i myself work as a sale’s assistant at GAME STORE’S LTD. We do the very best for our customer’s and guarantee them satisfaction on everything they purchase. Due to the competitive market within the GAME’S industry we endeavour to give customer’s all the help and advice they need. However with an area manager like John Scanlon i myself have an unenviable task of working under his very poor management skill’s! He is a very inpolite individual with no manner’s toward’s most of the staff at GAME store’s within the uk.

    • Wow someone else who feels let down by Game,
I am I think going to apply for a job within Game …I too can be rude and dismissive of a customers situation, equaly I could sit in front of a computor ,read a customers complaint email and the then send a standard reply making no referance to any matters within said email…..I think I would be really good at that.
Or could I be the next replacement for Lisa Morgan, chief executive and have my email address well hidden therefore proecting me from any emails that would land on my desk from those horrible people formally known as customers
