    • Hi – I really hate to do this, but I just took your tutorial on restoring my wp database…and to no avail.

      The problem isn’t with my database but slightly different and I was hoping you might pretty please have an answer.

      I had my wordpress install in a subdirectory /secretblog/ and wanted to move it to the root so that I could run my entire site off of wp. so i simply moved all of the files from /secretblog/ to my root directory and that didn’t work. The main blog page appears but I can’t access anything else (I get a 404 when trying to comment, access the admin, etc.)

      So I deleted my database (backing it up first, of course), reinstalled wp, and restored my database using your instructions.

      Still though, I can only see the main blog page.

      I’m thinking it has something to do with TEMPLATEPATH but I can’t seem to figure out how to change this setting.

      If you would be able to help I’d be GREATLY appreciative!
