Know a good bank ?

Today I established that the Natwest Bank lie lie and lie again. Not in ads, not in junk mail but to my face and over the phone. I am so fantastically angry at that bunch of incompetents that I could cheerfully walk into the branch tomorrow with a bit of wood in a bag, point it at one of them and shout ‘Bang’. Then say “Oops ! I can lie too”.
Know a place that doesn’t lie ?

That would be a big fat NO! What they don’t say to your face is hidden in the tiny print in the rules and regulations which they always reserve the right to change the minute you’ve done reading it.

Nationwide Building Society. I’ve been a customer of theirs since I was a little kid and I’ve never had problems.
Whereas Halifax, Natwest, and Barclays all tried to screw me.
I would always recommend Nationwide.

I’ve spent a lot of time working in banking. Therefore I’m not commenting. But I will say that HSBC would be my recommendation.
