I've spent a lot of time working in banking. Therefore I'm not commenting. But I will say that HSBC would be my recommendation.

Nationwide Building Society. I've been a customer of theirs since I was a little kid and I've never had problems.

Whereas Halifax, Natwest, and Barclays all tried to screw me.

I would always recommend Nationwide.

That would be a big fat NO! What they don't say to your face is hidden in the tiny print in the rules and regulations which they always reserve the right to change the minute you've done reading it.

Good luck.
