D decided today that she wanted her domain sorting out, so she has the latest code, Spam Karma 2, a nice new theme and best of all, a GuestBlock too ! Despite all the installs and upgrades I’ve done, it’s ever so slightly worrying doing it when she can yell at me if it goes wrong.
I have also made a change here to commenting. SK2 continues to do a superb job of blocking crap (600+ in the last 24 hours) and has yet to wrongly tag a comment so despite my reading in a couple of blogs that SK2 isn’t so hot, I rate it so it stays here. I will continue to install it when I install new blogs too. The change is that new commentors get their first comment moderated.
This is nothing to do with spam. It is everything to do with drive-by comments which do nothing but attack and abuse me – this is STILL happening and my action takes away that gloating smile from the fuckwits who would personally attack me in a comment after seeing it appear on-site. Grow up eh ? There are a couple of words on commenting and such here.

So where’s D’s site? Got a link? You know, I’m working on a couple of other people’s sites at the moment and it’s always in the back of your mind – “I’ve got to get this right or….”
